La Presse reporter Mathias Brunet, who had Shane Wright at the very top of his list just two weeks ago, has now completely changed his mind.
Brunet admitted during his most recent segment on 91.9 Sports that Juraj Slafkovsky, not Wright, was his favorite for the number one overall pick in the annual NHL Entry Draft.
"I was not a fan of Juraj Slafkovsky at all but I watched him closely at the last World Championships where he played against NHL players. At his age, you would expect him to do well, but nothing more. However, he was completely dominant. So much so that he is now my first choice for the Habs."
